As part of our commitment to providing a hands-on, field-oriented approach to the study of geology and environmental science, our department is committed to undergraduate research. Under the advisement of a faculty mentor, students are encouraged to develop research initiatives, to obtain funding in support of their projects, and to publish their results. Below are the references for research papers presented by students from Department of Earth & Environmental Sciences at the national meetings of academic organizations including the Geological Society of America and the American Geophysical Union.
